That was the last post of this blog! I will start another one for summer fun!!

Everyone has been asking about pictures of the house now that it is done. We have finally gotten everything cleaned up and in shape! We are ready for the summer!!

Finishing Touches

We went to the river to deliver the mantle last week and they are almost done! We are so excited to be done with the building process and get to enjoy this house. Here are a few of the finishing touches, it has really pulled together!

I guess the boat doesn't help to want the house to be done.

We went to the house on Friday to see the progress and we had to go to Savannah to get some business done and drove thru some of the tornado damage and here is some of it, this is not too awfully far from our house. Total devistation in some of these areas and we never heard that much about it all.

Tile

We went to the house and they had all the tile laid and the painting was done. We are getting closer each and every week. We were without power all week, so not much was able to be done. We are so thankful that we still have a house standing, the tornado hit about a mile away from our house!

Spook

Lights and Paint

We went to the River yesterday and took Darnell with us. They had done quite a bit. The downstairs is painted and durock is laid in the kitchen and bathrooms ready for the tile to go in. All the light fixtures are in and we also had heat. The boys cut down the trees that had all the vines growing all over them and obstructing our view! I was so grateful for Darnell being there so i didn't have to help pull those awful vines down. Spook and I sat in the warm and watched. Well he whimpered!
