Decking

We took the decking to the guys and they had already gotten all the windows and doors installed! They looked SO good! The electricion was there wiring and putting in all the lighting and plugs!

Over 8000 lbs of decking we took out to the house! The Titan had it's tongue hanging out!

Window Delivery

We delivered the windows, and they are so pretty! Can't wait for everyone to see them! They were putting the roof on when we got there! It's starting to come together!

This is half the load...they'd already taken the stuff off the end of the trailer.

They moved the tub into the bathroom.

New and Unexpected!

We had some new developments this week! We have a new gable on the front of the house to mirror the back and we have a cover over our little entry porch. It's really shaping up to look like a home! They put in the fireplace and made a platform for the AC unit. Chris played lumberjack today and we lost a few trees but it made the view worth it!

This is the new view with the trees gone! Now all we have to do is clean that green vine mess out and we will be set!

Nothing exciting

Nothing new this week in the construction. I have some pics of the front of the house and some of Chris working. Spook went with us again and he is learing to love it!! He loves to run down the bank to the water and watch the fish jump!

We have a roof!!

We have a roof and a stairway this week!! I can safely get in without having to climb that ladder!!!
