First Floor Framing

First floor Framing...Man it's getting taller!! The view from the first floor is incredible!! Can't wait to get up there and see it!!
Of course Chris is checking it all out!! Too high for me to climb up there...I'm a wuss!!

What it will look like when it's done!!

Everyone has been wanting to know what the house is going to look like when it is done...so here it is!!! It's teeny but it's cute!!

This is the front of the house that will face the water. There will be a basement on the bottom of the house which will make it 12' higher than it is here in the picture!
This is the first floor. It will be flipped.to where the deck is on the other side...the big water view is on the other side!!
This is the second floor....It will be flipped, also!!

No news

No new pictures this week...we didn't go!! But Chris said that they were putting in the I-joist system all week soooooo hopefully they will be framing this week!!! We will have pics next week!!

Basement

Look at the bend in the 2x4 wow alot of weight!!!
You can see how tall it is by looking at Chris's truck!!
This is the right side...this will lead you into the house!!! When the steps get there!!

This is where the fireplace is going!! Those are Chris's handycapped doors to get the lawn mower out!!!

Foundation and blocks

As you can see it's moving right along!! Foundation is done and blocks are out and they are ready to be laid to make the basement!!! It looks so teeny!!! Wait till you see the basement!!!

Fishing

As you all are aware of....Chris is an avid fisherman. I thought that everyone would enjoy seeing the first fish that he caught at the river! It was a cute little fish and he was so proud of it!!

Before The Construction Began
